Don’t wait to lose weight!
I want to help!
Weight care is not only changing the number on a scale. It requires a life transformation and is unique for every individual based on multiple characteristics such as body composition, medical history, genetic profile, hormone levels, brain biochemistries, and personal food preferences.
Working with me, I will take the time to get to know you and your individual aspects and develop your customized weight loss plan so that you can reach your weight loss goals.
How Can I Help You?
I am an American Board of Internal Medicine physician and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM). Obesity is the most prevalent chronic disease in society. Yet, many physicians are not trained in how to manage it. I specialize in treating adults with weight problems.

If you already have one or more of these medical conditions, losing weight can DECREASE your medication requirements.
Achieving a healthy weight is much easier with support and expert guidance!
Serving adults across New York State, via telemedicine exclusively, I am here to help YOU improve your health and quality of life, safely and effectively. Together, we will create a medically managed and personalized weight loss plan including four essential components:
What is Obesity?
Obesity involves having an excess amount of body fat due to a combination of factors, including lifestyle choices, environment, hormones, and genetics. It is a chronic, relapsing disease that presents a risk to health. Despite what we often hear, weight loss is not as simple as “calories in, calories out”. Metabolic and appetite adaptation complicates weight loss efforts and is why medication is an integral part of most successful treatment plans.
Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements between 18.5-24.9 indicate a healthy weight. You are considered overweight if your BMI is between 25-29.9, and obese if it is 30 or above. BMI is not a perfect indication of health, but it can be a good place to start if you are concerned about your weight.
